Colorado's network for AANHPI mental health professionals.
CAMHN brings together Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander mental health providers across the state.
Who we are
The Colorado Asian Mental Health Network is a Colorado-based organizing network for AANHPI mental health professionals: therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and the students and trainees on their way to joining them.
We exist so that providers who do this work don't do it alone. Members share referrals, learn from each other, and build the relationships that make culturally responsive care easier to find for the communities we serve.
CAMHN works in collaboration with the Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network (CACEN) and the National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA).
What we do
-
Professional Lunch & Learns
For mental health professionals
Midday sessions where a colleague presents on a clinical topic, a population, or a practice question, over lunch. A low-pressure way to keep learning with people who share your context.
-
Social Events & Networking
For mental health professionals
Happy hours, meals, and meetups around the Front Range and beyond. Put faces to the names on the listserv, meet the person you'll refer to next, and remember that this work is better in good company.
-
Community Workshops
For the broader community
Talks and workshops open to everyone, on topics that matter to AANHPI families and communities in Colorado: mental health, stigma, family, identity, and how to find care.
Join the network on Trellis
Our community lives on Trellis, a platform for member-run networks.
Trellis is where CAMHN members sign up, join the private listserv, and find shared resources. It's how you hear about every lunch and learn, social, and workshop, and where you can ask the whole network for a referral or a consult with one message.
Membership is open to AANHPI mental health providers licensed and practicing in Colorado, and to graduate students and trainees in a mental health field. A CAMHN admin reviews each application, usually within a few days.
Resources
Organizations and services that support AANHPI mental health in Colorado and beyond.
We keep a list of mental health and community organizations: places to point a client, a colleague, or a family member who is looking for help, information, or community.
